((During the last days my cat was almost dying. Not eating, always screaming in pain. I was damn afraid of losing her and brought her to the vet. He could save her. This was my own personal christmas miracle. It may sound banal, but this is the way I think about it. And now I’m just happy and tired.

In Germany zhere is a certain tradition during fall. Children are holding lanterns and walk through zhe starry night. Zhey sing in front of every door and get sweets, fruits, nuts and even sometimes money.

We call zhat zhe “Martinstag”.

I loved my lantern, when I was a small child. Painted it myself in kindergarten. Sweet, sweet memories.

I even remember zhe songs.

“Ich geh mit meiner Laterne und meine Laterne mit mir.

Da oben leuchten die Sterne, da unten, da leuchten wir…”
